Cheap Matte Eyeshadows

Are you looking for a cheap matte eyeshadows? Do you prefer a matte shadow as opposed to a sheen or a frosty shadow? I for one do. I’ve used a, I guess it was an oil based eyeshadow but it was kind of greasy and definitely shimmery and let me tell you, it was not fun. I don’t know if it was the shape of my eye or my skin type but it was a mess and it felt horrible on my eyelids. I literally felt it sinking into the creases of my eyelids. I have somewhat of what has been termed a “hooded” eye. This means that my the skin or flesh above the natural fold if my eyelid, kind of protrudes over my eyelid. I hope that paints a picture for you, if not you can Google eye types or types of eyes and you should get a description and even pictures of the different eye types and eye shapes. Maybe though, the shape of my eyelid was the reason why the greasiness of the eyeshadow irritated me so badly but it seemed to have sunk down into all of the little folds of my eyelid and felt thick and nasty. Or it could have been the humidity in the air. This is not a bash to sheen, frosty or luster shadows, I believe that in the right weather and for the right occasion and above all with the right application, a sheen or frosty eyeshadow is perfect. For instance, I personally prefer to wear a glossy lipstick in the winter and a matte lipstick in the summer. There again, the glossy lipstick feels messy on my lips in hot or humid weather conditions. So if you’re like me, you love matte make-up and matte eyeshadow is your favorite. Or maybe you just don’t like the glittery, shimmery shine of frosty and sheen shadows. So how can you find a good matte eyeshadow for cheap?

I hate to say this because I’m many of you will think I’m not only cheap but pratically baragain basement Daisy. But I like Revlon make-up. I know that there are worse makeups out there but I also know that Mac is a bigtime favorite make-up brand for professionals, celebrity and the everyday woman but I don’t know, I like Revlon. They have a perfect color match for my skin and every since I found that color, I’ve worn Revlon makeup. So relatively speaking, you can get cheap matte eyeshadow from your local grocery store or Wal-mart if you’re wearing the commercial brands like I am. You can also score a good deal on eyeshadow make-up by purchasing the discontinued colors. You can search the web for those.
